Hannah & Junsuk’s Summer Wedding at Maritime Parc | Jersey City, NJ

Hannah & Junsuk’s Wedding at Maritime Parc

There is something special about a summer wedding by the water—especially when the Manhattan skyline becomes part of the backdrop.

Hannah and Junsuk celebrated their wedding on July 25, 2026, at Maritime Parc in Jersey City, New Jersey, a modern waterfront venue located in Liberty State Park with sweeping views toward Manhattan and the Hudson River.

From the beginning of the day, we wanted their photographs to feel natural and effortless while still carrying the refined, editorial quality that defines our work.

Rather than forcing every moment into a pose, we focused on the quiet interactions in between—the anticipation, small gestures, movement, and genuine expressions that give a wedding gallery its own rhythm.

A Waterfront Wedding in Jersey City

Maritime Parc gives us something we always look for when photographing a wedding: variety.

The clean architecture and contemporary interiors create a sophisticated setting, while the waterfront and open skyline bring an entirely different feeling to the portraits. Its floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor terrace also allow the city and natural light to become part of the visual story.

For Hannah and Junsuk, we used those different environments to create a collection that moved between candid documentary moments and more composed editorial portraits.

The goal was never simply to photograph how the wedding looked.

We wanted the photographs to remember how the day felt.

Timeless, Editorial Wedding Photography

Our approach to Hannah and Junsuk’s wedding was a balance of direction and observation.

For portraits, we gave just enough guidance to create strong composition, movement, and light without making the images feel overly posed. During the rest of the day, we allowed moments to unfold naturally and concentrated on the relationships between the couple, their families, and their guests.

That balance is at the heart of the Haseok Chung Studio approach:

Summer Evening at Maritime Parc

As the day moved into the evening, the waterfront setting became even more beautiful.

One of our favorite things about photographing weddings around Jersey City and Liberty State Park is the relationship between the open waterfront and Manhattan across the river. Maritime Parc was designed around those views, including wraparound outdoor spaces overlooking the skyline.

It gave us the opportunity to step away from the reception for a few moments and create portraits with a completely different atmosphere from the earlier part of the day.

These short portrait sessions are often some of our favorites. The schedule slows down, the couple has already experienced most of the formal parts of the wedding, and the photographs tend to feel more relaxed and intimate.

Hannah & Junsuk

More than anything, this gallery is about the two of them.

A wedding venue can give us beautiful light, architecture, and scenery, but what ultimately makes photographs meaningful is the relationship in front of the camera.

Hannah and Junsuk brought warmth and ease to the entire day, and it was a privilege to document this chapter of their story.

Congratulations again, Hannah and Junsuk.

Thank you for trusting Haseok Chung Studio to preserve these memories with you.
